800 Series Inverted Y-Blade Louvers – Secure, Durable, and High Airflow

The 800 Series door louvers are engineered for strength, airflow, and security, making them the ideal solution for schools, hospitals, correctional facilities, and other institutional buildings. Featuring an inverted Y-blade design, these louvers provide up to 50% free air space while preventing vision through the opening, ensuring both ventilation and privacy.

Constructed with a heavy-duty 18-gauge cold-rolled steel frame and 20-gauge blades, the 800 Series offers long-lasting durability for high-traffic environments. The louvers are designed with a 1” deep welded frame and interlocking blades, built to withstand demanding use without compromising performance.

Multiple mounting configurations are available, including 800A1 self-attaching vandal-proof design, 800A adjustable flanged frame for 1-3/8” to 1-3/4” doors, and 800C single flange with field-applied trim. This flexibility ensures a proper fit for both hollow metal and wood doors across a variety of commercial applications.

The 800 Series louvers are stocked in standard sizes for fast delivery and are available in a wide range of powder coat finishes, including bronze, gray, black, flat black, white, silver, and sand. Optional stainless steel, galvanneal, or zinc-plated construction is also available for enhanced corrosion resistance and exterior applications.

For added functionality, louvers can be specified with bird screens or insect screens in aluminum, bronze, fiberglass, or stainless steel frames. With their rugged build and versatile options, the 800 Series provides reliable ventilation and code-compliant performance in any project.
