A flat mounting layout and locking, polarized connectors for the option boards make installation simpler, with no racks or side connectors required. Because the option boards mount flat, the terminal blocks are easier to reach when wiring electrified hardware such as electromagnetic locks, electrified strikes, card readers and exit devices. Like the rest of the PS900 Series, this supply delivers the same output rating at either the 12V or the 24V setting, accepts input from 120 to 240 VAC, and uses polarized option board connectors. The fire alarm interface board mounting lets each output be set as switched, cutting power, or unswitched, leaving power on, when a signal is received.
